We’re currently running a survey to find out what married women want from their wedding anniversary and will be sharing the results of this with you over the coming months.
As you can imagine, we’ve had all sorts of responses, but probably the most revealing is a list of the worst presents received!
For the protection of the husbands we will publish all results anonymously but we were quite surprised at the range of bad gifts being presented to wives and thought we’d share some of the worst ones with you here:
- Nothing
- A wig
- Kendal Mint Cake
- An ironing board
- Washing Basket
- A set of weighing scales
- Fake plastic flowers
- Prawn Curry (take-away)
- Anti-ageing cream
- A Parrot
Thinking about the person you intend to buy the gift for always helps, but if you lack the idea, time or (woe betide) effort! - then safe bets generally include:
surprise meals out, short breaks (always a winner), fresh flowers or champagne.
The questionnaire is still open so if you fancy a 10% discount off selected products, please fill in your answers anonymously at our Anniversary Survey and we’ll send you a special discount code.
The red carpet was rolled out in theatre land yesterday as we attended a sumptuous wedding at the Prince of Wales Theatre.
It was our first civil partnership and the handsome grooms set a benchmark with their style and entertainment that will be hard to beat.
There was real warmth in the occasion and family and friends gave some wonderful readings - prompting the use of a lot of hankies!
However it was the grooms who capped the evening off with a stylish number on the dance floor and then a brilliant improvised scene with the wonderful Dave Lynn - the drag Queen of Drag Queens!
It was a fantastic day and we wish the happy couple many more in their life together.
There’s a new member of the team that’s taking our message to the streets of London Town.
Our scooter has just received it’s official endorsement and now sports the company logo.
This recognition has been just reward for all the effort and achievement it’s put in and stands as testament to it’s reliability and good looks.
We’re also impressed by how well the logo and bike go together.
If you do see us - give a wave!
P.S - We’ve not yet given a name to our helpful friend - so any ideas would be appreciated.
